I got into the sport when my three children decided to give it a try. They loved it from the start and we were so warmly welcomed into the club I wanted to find a way to help give back in some small way. This started with me being a team assistant and helping the younger teams enjoy their hockey. 

My personal passion for sport started at school and I've been lucky throughout my life to have access to great coaches and facilities. Not least when I was at Loughborough University playing hockey, netball and swimming, although I never actually played roller hockey (or even skated).

I enjoy helping so when the opportunity came up to look after the kit and join the committee I jumped at the chance. Finding ways to run and organise the club is important to me so that the coaches can continue to focus on the teams and helping them to be the best they can be.
